The purpose of this notice is to obtain the following information: (1) The availability and capability of qualified sources; (2) Whether they are a small or large business relative to their size classification under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for the proposed acquisition: NAICS Code: 238290 - Other Building Equipment Contractors In support of the 99th Readiness Division the U. S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey is issuing this Sources Sought Notice to perform market research to assist in determining the appropriate acquisition strategy for Elevator Maintenance Services located at the following locations in the B5 Region; T/SGT VERNON MCGARITY USARC, 99 SOLDIERS LANE, CORAOPOLIS, PA 15108 (PA166) o BEAVER FALLS USARC, 9060 MARSHALL RD, CRANBERRY TWP, PA 16066 (PA168) o BLDG 292 - 292 AVIATION DRIVE, JOHNSTOWN, PA 15902 (PA051) o BLDG 195 - 195 AVIATION DRIVE, JOHNSTOWN, PA 15902 (PA051) o ATC TOWER - 471 AIRPORT ROAD, JOHNSTOWN PA, 15902 (PA051) o JOHN P. MURTHA MEMORIAL USAR CENTER, 295 GOUCHER ST, JOHNSTOWN PA, 15905 (PA053) The Government intends to award a single firm-fixed-price contract vehicle as a result of the solicitation to be issued. The expected period of performance is one 12-month base period and four, 12- month option periods. The contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and transportation to perform elevator safety inspections and preventive maintenance, which consists of but is not limited to: Regional Elevator Maintenance - All elevators at the sites listed shall be inspected and certified by a licensed elevator professional in the state they are located at the government required frequency (annual, biannual, etc.), and upon completion a current inspection certificate will be provided in duplicate: one posted in the elevator, and one given to the facility manager for record keeping. Attachment labeled - "DRAFT PWS -Elevator Maintenance Contract-B5" is for planning purposes only. No solicitation document exists at this time. Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government to procure these services or to issue a solicitation. In addition, the Government is under no obligation to pay for information submitted in response to this notice and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers. Submittal Requirements: 1) Name of Company; Company Address; Point of Contact, with Name, Phone Number, Email Address, NAICS Code, Unique Identity ID, CAGE Code, and Socio-Economic Size Status (Large/Small Business/HubZone/8(a)/Woman Owned Small Business/etc.). 2) Contractor acknowledges a clear understanding of all tasks specified in the DRAFT Performance Work Statement 3) Confirms full capabilities of completing the required work specified in the DRAFT Performance Work Statement. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
