The JOC Agreement is an indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery contract. The successful Contractor will, when authorized under an approved Job Order, perform a variety of carpet and flooring projects located at various buildings, sites and properties managed by the UCSB Housing, Dining & Auxiliary Enterprises ("HDAE") department. Construction tasks will be assigned by a designated University Representative under a series of negotiated Job Orders that will be priced based upon the successful contractor's competitively established Adjustment Factor as applied to the fixed unit rates established in the Construction Documents. The successful contractor will provide carpeting and flooring repair and installation services for HDAE, including all necessary materials equipment and personnel to successfully perform the work. Projects shall include flooring replacement and/or rehabilitation, installation and repair services projects. Prior to submission of its bid, prospective Contractors are urged to familiarize themselves completely with the JOC Agreement, the terms and conditions of the Construction Documents, including the Fixed Unit Rate Schedule, and all other relevant provisions. (One Base Year + Two, Single-Year Options). Bid Security in the amount of $25,000 shall accompany each Bid. The Surety issuing the Bid Bond shall be, on the Bid Deadline, an admitted surety insurer (as defined in California Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120). The successful Bidder and its Subcontractors will be required to follow the nondiscrimination requirements set forth in the Bidding Documents and to pay prevailing wage rates at the location of the Work
