Blackwell Island Lift Station and Lighting Upgrades Project Location: Blackwell Island Recreation Site, Coeur d'Alene, ID. All questions should be emailed directly to the Contracting Officer. Only written RFI's will be considered and responded to by the Government. BLM responses to RFIs will be posted as an amendment to the solicitation. Period of Performance: 03/15/2024 to 07/01/2024. If the Contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified in the contract, the Contractor shall pay liquidated damages to the Government in the amount of $500.00 for each calendar day of delay until the work is completed or accepted. If the Government terminates the Contractor's right to proceed, liquidated damages will continue to accrue until the work is completed. These liquidated damages are in addition to excess costs of repurchase under the Termination clause. Magnitude: Between $100,000 and $250,000 The Work for the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. Design of repairs and/or upgrades recommended by previous investigation and assessment of Blackwell Island Lift Station and controls and selected by BLM 2. Design of light pole and fixture upgrades to the existing power system. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. 1.4 ACCESS TO SITE A. General: Contractor shall have limited use of Project site for construction operations as indicated on Drawings by the Contract limits and as indicated by requirements of this Section. B. Use of Site: Limit use of Project site to Work in areas indicated. Do not disturb portions of Project site beyond areas in which the Work is indicated 1. Limits: Limit site disturbance, including earthwork if any clearing of vegetation, utilities, and all other constructed areas. 1.5 COORDINATION WITH GOVERNMENT A. Full Government Occupancy: Perform the Work so as not to interfere with Government's dayto-day operations unless approved by Government. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
