INDEPENDENCE POINT STORMWATER IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT The project generally consists of stormwater system improvements, including approximately 371 linear feet of storm pipe, manhole, 17 drywells, 106 linear feet infiltration trench, 17 catch basins, and 14 manholes with associated surface restoration. All bids shall be presented or otherwise delivered to the City Clerk in a sealed envelope with a concise statement marked on the outside identifying the project. All bids shall contain one of the following forms of bidder s security equal to 5% of the total bid: a) Cash, b) Cashier s Check or Certified Check payable to the City, or c) bidder s bond executed by a qualified Idaho Surety Company, payable to the City. Bids will remain subject to acceptance for thirty (30) days after the bid opening. The City, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat.252, 42 US.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and applicable Regulations, notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that all business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, or national origin, or sex in consideration for an award. Davis-Bacon Wage Rates will not be applicable to this project. The right is reserved to reject any or all Bids.
