Site work for a water / sewer project in Walcott, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The purpose of this project is to provide and install minimum 6 mil CIPP lining for main line sanitary sewer per the listed pipe runs in the contract documents and to provide testing and video documentation to verify the work was completed per the specifications. Work shall begin after March 18, 2024 and be completed and ready for final payment by December 12, 2024. Bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid. Insurance, Performance, and Maintenance Bonds will be required by the successful bidder upon Award. Equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, said bond to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the City Council, and shall guarantee the prompt payment of all materials and labor, and also protect and save harmless the City from all claims and damages of any kind caused directly or indirectly by the operation of the contract, and shall also guarantee the maintenance of the improvement for a period of two (2) years from and after its completion and formal acceptance by the City.
