Reference Number 0000346299 Job Location: Gunnison, Colorado The Work is located within the City of Gunnison and extends from the intersection of W. Rio Grande Avenue and S. Wisconsin Street to 210 feet east of the intersection of E. San Juan Avenue and S. Main Street. All work will be in City of Gunnison right-of-way. Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, constructing a 21-inch gravity sewer main with associated connections including, but not limited to, manholes, drop-manholes, piping installed by open-cut methods, and all other Work required in accordance with the Contract Documents. Work includes but is not limited to, removal and replacement of asphalt pavement and concrete gutters, offsite disposal, and traffic control. Work includes replacement of irrigation pipelines that will be crossed during sewer line construction. The condition of existing irrigation lines will be evaluated when excavated during construction of the sewer line. Owner reserves the right to reduce the amount of irrigation piping to be replaced if sections are found to be in good condition. This is a rebid of City of Gunnison 2024 Sewer Expansion 21-09 RFB. The project was rebid due to issues with the electronic submission process. The project remains the same as the previous project except for bid submission due date and question due date. Questions submitted on the previous RFB and corresponding questions follow: Q - Please verify which manholes are to lined with corrosion protective liners. The bid form shows a total of (5) manholes to be lined and the plan set shows MHs #6, #8, #10, #12. A - Per specification 09 96 01, Part 2.1, C - Corrosion Protection: All drop manholes and connections to the interceptor sewer shall be coated on the interior surface. The missing rim elevation at PROP MH7A should be: 7690.96. No changes to quantities or scope. This detail will be added to the construction drawing set after bid award.
