Body of Notice: The State of Alaska, Department of Military and Veterans (DMVA), Alaska Air Nation Guard, Facilities Management Office is seeking competitive quotes from qualified contractors to provide Hangar Door Inspections and General Maintenance at facilities located in Bethel, Alaska; Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska; Juneau, Alaska; Kotzebue, Alaska; and Nome, Alaska as outlined in the solicitation Questions vendors have concerning the attached ITB or contents therein must be in writing and submitted to the DMVA/FMO Design & Construction, via email. DMVA/FMO Design & Construction Telephone: (907) 428-7187 Email: gavin.fairbanks@alaska.gov The Hangar Door Inspection and Maintenance Contract shall include all materials, tools, supplies and travel to perform Hangar Door Inspections. These inspections must be in accordance with all applicable regulations required by the State as well as meeting all inspection codes. The successful Contractor will also provide all required maintenance which will be billed through a quote and Work Order system. CONTRACT TERM: The term of this contract will be two (2) years firm from date of award with three (3) 1-year renewal options to be exercised at the sole discretion of the State. To be responsive, a bid must include a bid guaranty equal to 5% of the amount bid. The apparent successful bidder must furnish a payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract and a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract as security conditioned for the full, complete and faithful performance of the contract. The apparent successful bidder must execute the said contract and bonds within fifteen calendar days, or such further time as may be allowed in writing by the Contracting Officer, after receiving notification of the acceptance of their bid. The Department hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this Invitation, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award.
