Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The work for which bids are requested consists of approximately 18,300 lineal feet of street construction, consisting of traffic control, bituminous pavement removal, milling of bituminous pavement, sawing, concrete curb and gutter repairs, concrete sidewalk repair, preparation of aggregate base course, pedestrian ramp construction, bituminous pavement, lawn restoration, and epoxy pavement marking. 5% bid security is required. Work under this contract shall include; traffic control, detour signage and maintenance, saw cutting, removal and replacement of concrete curb and gutter, removal and replacement of concrete sidewalks, concrete pedestrian ramp installation, unclassified excavation, restoration adjacent to concrete repairs, milling 2-inches of bituminous pavement, paving 2-inch asphaltic concrete surface and epoxy pavement marking. As outlined below, night work will be required, on some streets when milling and paving is performed.
