Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, a cashier s check or draft certified or issued by a state or national bank, in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, payable to the Douglas School District; or in lieu thereof, bidder may furnish a bid bond in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid This project manual provides for liquidated damages in the amount of $500.00 per calendar day for the contractors delay in completion of the work. The School Board of Douglas reserves the right to reject any part of, or all bids, and to waive any informalities or irregularities therein.
