2024 Valve Insertion Bids will be evaluated based on compliance with the specifications listed, as well as the reputation of the manufacturer, and supplier. Bids should be valid for 30 days from submission date. This bid will be for the immediate insertion of up to 2 valves, and if honored by contractor, may be used for additional valve insertions in the 12 month period following the bid opening date. Valve Specifications Valves insertion / installation on 8 inch (8") main service line while main service line under pressure All applicable components 304 Stainless Steel Where Applicable, No-Lead-Brass Valve Body Minimum Test Pressure: At least 1.5 times system working pressure Valve Body Maximum Test Pressure: At least 375 psi Valve Body Maximum Working Pressure: At least 250 psi NSF/ANSI Standard 61 and NSF/ANSI 372 Compliant Questions should be directed to the Dyer City Hall at (731) 692-3767.
