Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The improvement includes scarification, furnish and place Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) pavement, pavement markings, manhole adjustments, traffic control, and other incidental items in accordance with the contract documents, including Plan File No. 662-075/100 located on Locust Street from the Des Moines River to 9th Street and on Grand Avenue from the Des Moines River to 2nd Avenue in Des Moines, Iowa. This project shall be fully completed not later than November 4, 2024, and in accordance with the Completion Provisions. Engineer's Construction Estimate. $700,000.00 Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as specified by the Jurisdiction. The City of Des Moines (Jurisdiction) reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Object Code Organization No Project No 543060 C038EG The City's Overall Annual DBE/TSB Goal for this project is 5.72%, which represents a target that the City would like to achieve in including DBE/TSB participation on City contracts; and is not a mandatory goal for this project
