Site work for a road / highway in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Question Cuttoff Date & Time 3/8/2024 02:00:00 PM (ET) / 01:00 PM (CT) Deliveries shall be F.O.B Destination. Remove and replace W-Beam on Highway 6 WB 252.50 Right Shoulder. Estimated list of items to be replaced: One- 13' 6" end guard rail straight. One- End Anchor W-Beam post. One- Cable Assembly Contractor will be required to make a site visit to verify parts needed. It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. IADOT - Remove and replace W-Beam on Highway 6 WB Furnish all new material, equipment, mobilization, labor and traffic control per TC-419 to complete project. Will need to let proper emergency agencies know of said closure. Vendor must use new material and must dispose of all old material.
