Renovation of a fire / police facility in North Platte, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and plant and all else necessary to properly replace roof at Fire Station #1, located at 701 South Jeffers. Roofs A, B, C & D Move ballast rock off roof areas and re-use once new membrane is installed Tear-off existing EPDM rubber roofing material and all wall flashings and haul away debris Install new .060 mill EPDM over existing insulation per manufacturer specifications Install new EPS insulation on north area of lower roof area where there is water damage (Area A) All curbs, walls, and penetrations will be flashed per manufacturer specifications Re-use all cap metal Move ballast rock back on top of new roof material The roofing system requires a standard 15 year manufacturers warranty for materials and labor Any firm bidding on this project must be able to address warranty issues within 48 hours. Any wet insulation discovered during tear-off will be replaced at an additional cost. The City of North Platte, Nebraska, reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any or all bids.
