The City of Rockville is seeking pedestrian and bicycle counter products that can collect year-round pedestrian and bicycle volume counts. In accordance with City of Rockville ordinance no. 06-20, all responses to Request for Quotes (RFQ), Invitation for Bids (IFB) and Request for Proposals (RFP) shall be submitted electronically within the City's Collaboration Portal. Bid and proposal submissions are secure and will be reviewed and evaluated as outlined in the solicitation document. The following locations are proposed: 1. A pedestrian-only counter on Maryland Avenue in Rockville Town Center. 2. A pedestrian-only counter at the pedestrian entrance to the Twinbrook Metrorail Station in Twinbrook. 3. A bicycle-only counter on an in-street protected bicycle lane on N. Washington Street in Rockville Town Center. 4. A pedestrian-bicycle counter at the entrance to the Friendship Bridge crossing over W. Montgomery Avenue (MD 28). 5. A pedestrian-bicycle counter along the Rockcrest Park Trail in Twinbrook. 6. A pedestrian-bicycle counter along the Baltimore Road trail. 7. Two pedestrian-bicycle counters along the Carl Henn Millennium Trail.
