This project consists of improvements to the Town of Chesterfield's water distribution system. The work consists of, but is not limited to, the installation of a new tank mixer in the Town's existing 500,000 gallon elevated storage tank, replacement of existing (2)-inch water mains with approximately 2.5 miles of new (6)-inch C900 water mains, replacement of an existing transmission main with approximately 0.7 miles of new (8)-inch C900 water main, abandonment of existing water mains, and the disconnection and reconnection of water service lines to the new water mains, as applicable, along with all other work required to provide a functional distribution system. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Questions pertaining to this project shall be submitted directly to Chris Limcaco, P.E. at Commonwealth Engineers, Inc. via ONLINE. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any bid, or all bids, or to accept any bid or bids, or to make such combination of bids as may seem desirable, and to waive any and all informalities in bidding. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered.
