This project consists of improvements to the Town of Chesterfield's water supply system including improvements to existing Well No. 4, new Well No. 5, new water treatment plant (WTP), and abandonment of existing Well No. 1 and Well No. 3. The new WTP includes a new building, forced air aerator and clear well, high pressure service pumps, horizontal pressure filter, gas chlorination and air scrubber system, backwash tank and pumps, and a new supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system that allows communication and automated control between pertinent equipment including but not limited to water supply wells, high service pumps, and the water storage tank, along with all other work required for the complete construction and functionality of the wells and WTP. Requests for Contract Documents and Specifications and Drawings must also include a return street address; post office box numbers are not acceptable. Contract Documents will not be sold separate from the web-based service (i.e. All plan holders will be required to purchase through the web-based service). Partial sets of Contract Documents, Specifications and Drawings are not available.
