A timeline for award has been established after September 16th ** This work shall include, but is not limited to installation of all materials necessary and perform all operations required for a complete, fully functional and operational anchored Owner-provided floating pier system per the drawings and specifications in the City of Hammond, Lake County, Indiana. This work shall be completed by April 15, 2026 because in-water work cannot begin until after October 27, 2025. Selective demolition to be completed by December 15, 2025. All Bidders must be properly licensed in the City of Hammond at the time bids are received. All Bidders must comply with Hammond Ordinance No. 9519 related to Responsible Bidding Practices that requires all Bidders to become prequalified by the City of Hammond Building Commissioner prior to submitting a Bid for Public Works for the City of Hammond. A copy of the ordinance is contained in the Contract Documents, Section 00 73 55. The Hammond Port Authority reserves the right to retain any and all bids for a period of not more than 90 days, and said bids shall remain in full force and effect during said time. The Hammond Port Authority further reserves the right to waive informalities and to award the contract to any Bidder all to the advantage of the Hammond Port Authority or to reject all bids.
