Site work for a water / sewer project in Norfolk, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Work under this Project includes the installation of approximately 2000 LF of water main, between the intersections of Partridge Street and Bland Street, as well as the replacement of 40 water service lines along Sewells Point Road. This project also includes the replacement of approximately 2,000 LF of sewer main, between the intersections of Partridge Street and Bland Street, as well as the replacement of 43 existing sewer laterals and cleanouts along Sewells Point Road. Approximately 1900 LF of existing water main will be abandoned in place and approximately 100 LF of existing water main will be removed. Approximately 1250 LF of existing sanitary sewer will be abandoned and approximately 700 LF of existing sanitary sewer will be removed. This project is linear in nature and will not alter pre-construction site runoff characteristics upon completion of land disturbing and final stabilization activities. ADA handicap ramps will be installed where work occurs in the respective intersection and existing curb ramps are not up to standards.
