Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Fort Meade, Maryland. Working plans call for the construction of a 115,500-square-foot military facility; for site work for a military facility; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The purpose of this notice it to seek industry feedback regarding subcontracting goals that will be incorporated into the solicitation. Per FAR 19.702(a)(1)(i), subcontracting plans are required for other than small businesses. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Baltimore District proposes the following goals. These goals are a percentage of total subcontracted dollars and not a percentage of total contract value. Feedback from industry is encourage regarding opinion on if the goals should be adjusted or if they should remain as stated. Small Business Concerns: 37% Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB): 10% Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB): 9% HUBZone Small Business (HUBZone): 5% Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB): 5% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business: 5% Feedback shall be communicated via email to the Contract Specialist (qiana.l.bowman@usace.army.mil) and Contracting Officer (Michael.J.Getz@usace.army.mil) by 11:00 EDT on May 10, 2024. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
