Demolition, site work and addition to a mixed-use development in Claremore, Oklahoma. Working plans call for the addition of a educational facility.
As of March 15, 2024, per Superintendent Boothe, single architect for all projects has been identified. Construction manager has been selected. All other information is TBD after Construction Manager is selected. On February 13, 2024, voters approved the special election bond. Bond included: -Construct storm shelters on both the Justus-Tiawah North (K-3, Grade 7-8) and South campus (Grade 4-6), capable of holding all students and available for community use after school hours, in addition to serving as: -New classrooms and restroom facilities at the South campus -New library at the North campus -New kitchen at the North campus -New parking lots and student pickup-drop off design at each campus -Safety enhancements at both campuses to include renovating building entrances and fencing -Enhanced age-appropriate playground area at both campuses -New activity fields to allow J-T the ability to host athletic events
