The Contract work will include, but not necessarily be limited to, replacing 629 LF of 8-inch sanitary sewer and four manholes. Project location: Thomas Street from Elm Street to S. 26 th Street and Rivington Terrace from Elm Street to Paxtang Parkway. Bonds are to be issued by a surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Project consists of the replacement of sanitary sewer piping and manholes on Thomas Street and Rivington Terrace in the Borough. This Contract is subject to the following: the Federal Davis-Bacon Wage Act conditions; the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSHA) conditions; the Pennsylvania Act 229 of 2002; the Pennsylvania One Call Act, also known as the Underground Utility Line Protection Law, Act 287 of 1974, as amended; the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act 222 Condition; requirement of a non collusion affidavit; the non-discrimination in Employment/Contract Compliance Regulations Conditions; and the Public Works Employment Verification Act. Bidders must comply with all state anti-bid-rigging regulations pertaining to work associated with this project and will be required to submit an executed non-collusion affidavit with the bid.
