Site work for a civil project in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work for this project consists primarily of installation of a new water main to the Pettibone Beach Bath House building, and a new water service line to the Pettibone Yacht Club in Pettibone Park in La Crosse. The work includes connecting the existing Pettibone Beach Bath House building to the new water main and also to an existing sanitary sewer forcemain via a new lift station, and interior plumbing work is required. The water service line to the Pettibone Yacht Club will terminate outside of that building and NO interior plumbing work is required there. The work for this project will consist primarily of, but not limited to, the following: pavement sawcutting & removal; common excavation; installation of new 6" wrapped DIP water main, hydrants, valves & water service pipes and connections; abandoning an existing well; removal of an existing septic holding tank; removal of interior well-related plumbing equipment; installation of a new grinder pump and pump station; installation of a new drinking fountain; new asphaltic & concrete pavement; and restoration. This project is occurring within the Mississippi River floodway, and wetlands exist immediately adjacent to the work areas. The City shall obtain Wisconsin DNR Land Disturbance and Water Main Extension permits. Construction administration services will be provided by Makepeace Engineering, LLC. Pre-Qualification: Yes
