he City of Attleboro is seeking qualification proposals from engineering consulting firms to study and assess the Ten Mile River and its associated floodplain within the Downtown Attleboro Study Area of the city (see map). Work will involve engineering surveys and hydrologic modeling that will serve as the basis to develop cost-effective mitigation actions that will increase flood capacity and reduce flooding. The project will begin upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed and shall be completed within thirteen months. This project is partly funded through a Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) Grant awarded to the City from FEMA. Work will be required to follow the tasks described in the RFP to conform to the scope of work approved by FEMA. Question Deadline 03/08/2024 at 9:00 AM ET.
