The service of complete abrasive blasting, priming and painting of approximately 280 fire hydrants throughout the City of Charlevoix The successful contractor shall have, in place, throughout the duration of this agreement general liability and work comp insurance in the amount of $2,000,000.00. This policy shall also name the City of Charlevoix as additional insured. If at any point this insurance requirement is not met the City reserves the right to make this agreement null and void. The City of Charlevoix reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive irregularities and to accept the proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Charlevoix. Overall project cost or unit cost will not be the only factor used in determining the lowest qualified bidder.
