Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to an elderly care / assisted living facility in Charlevoix, Michigan. Completed plans call for the addition of a 1,880-square-foot, one-story above grade elderly care / assisted living facility; for the demolition of a elderly care / assisted living facility; for site work for a elderly care / assisted living facility; and for the renovation of a elderly care / assisted living facility.
Description of Work: Construction of a one-story addition, CMU and metal frame structure, with brick veneer exterior and metal roofing on steel bar joists, comprising of approximately 1,880 square feet. Additional interior renovations of approximately 8,855 square feet. Question Deadline 05/14/2024 at 12:00 PM ET All questions MUST be submitted to the Architect via e-mail address: info@ekarchitect.com. Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond, executed by the Bidder and a Surety Company, payable to 'Charlevoix County' in the amount of five percent (5%) of the accompanying Bid. Proposal Guarantee shall provide assurance that the Bidder will, upon acceptance of the Bid, execute the necessary Contract with Charlevoix County. No Bid may be withdrawn for at least one hundred twenty days (120) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving Bids. Charlevoix County reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and to waive any irregularities in bidding. The successful bidder shall furnish the Owner with certificates of insurance as listed in the AIA A201, General Conditions of the Contract for Construction, Article 11.
