Demolition, site work and addition to a water / sewer project in Hopedale, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the addition of a 1,276-square-foot, one-story above grade water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The goals for this project are a minimum of 4.2% D/MBE participation and 4.5 percent D/WBE participation by certified DBEs. Sub Bid Category Metal Fabrications, Painting, Plumbing, HVAC, & Electrical. The scope of work includes installation of poly- and per-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) treatment filter vessels and construction of approximately 1,300 sq. ft. building addition at the Green Street Water Treatment Plant. The existing green sand filter system will be expanded with the addition of a new filter vessel. The new building addition is a pre-engineered metal building to match the existing water treatment plant building and will be equipped with its own HVAC system, water service, etc. The work includes a new chemical feed system, instrumentation, and SCADA, electrical, HVAC, and associated civil/site work.
