PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Rapid Ride J Line Bus Rapid Transit Project will construct infrastructure for a Bus Rapid Transit network from 3rd Ave to NE 45th St via Stewart St, Virginia St, Boren Ave, Fairview Ave N. Eastlake Ave E, 11th Ave NE, Roosevelt Way NE, and NE 43rd St. Base bid work includes earth- work, pavement and sidewalk removal/restoration, construction of new stations, ADA ramps, driveway, signing, channelization, overhead trolley system pole and wire removal and installation, traffic signals, lighting, land- scaping, water main and water service reconnection and renew. al, storm drainage, and other proj-ect elements. For purpose of the Bidders/Subcontractor list, this project includes Electrical and Rebar work. A/E ESTIMATE: $85,000,000 - 90,000,000. QUESTIONS: Written questions must be submitted no later than 5:00 pm. on the Friday before bid opening. DBEs on this project is: 4% *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
