Monticello Community Unit School District #25 is accepting bids from contractors for work at Monticello High School in Monticello, Illinois. The scope of work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary for completion of the work indicated in the Bid Documents including, but not necessarily limited to, the following: demolition, earthwork, concrete pavement flat work, striping, fencing, parking lot signage, wheel stops, and landscape restoration associated with the Pavement Improvements for Monticello CUSD #25 Project. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish construction performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the Contract Sum. The Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates for all work performed under this contract and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1 et seq). The Contractor must be required to submit electronic copies of their certified payrolls to the Engineer with each application for payment. Community Unit School District #25 reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, reject nonconforming bids, reject conditional bids, waive irregularities in the bidding procedures, or to accept any bid that, in its sole opinion, best serves the interests of the School District. On-site construction is scheduled to commence May 28, 2024. Substantial Completion Date: July 26, 2024. Final Completion Date: August 9, 2024.
