The Facility Operations Services of the City of Ottawa, hereinafter referred to as the, is seeking offers from qualified firms to provide all labour, equipment, and materials for janitorial services at the Ottawa Police Service facility located at 3343 St. Joseph Boulevard, Orleans, Ontario, K1E 3X8 in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions set out herein. Commercial General Liability insurance issued on an occurrence basis for an amount of not less than $5,000,000 per occurrence for any negligent acts or omissions by the Contractor. Such insurance shall include, but is not limited to, bodily injury, death and property damage including loss of use: premises, property and operations liability; products and broad form completed operations liability; blanket contractual liability; cross liability; severability of interest clause; contingent employers liability; personal injury liability; owner's and contractor's protective coverage; non-owned automobile liability; broad form property damage; employees as additional Insured; occurrence property damage. The period of contract shall commence on 01 May 2024 and shall end on 30 April 2026. The City may, at its discretion, extend the period of contract for three (3) additional one (1) year terms subject to satisfactory performance by the Contractor and provided the contract pricing, terms and conditions for the extended period are acceptable to the City and the Contractor.
