Rebid 1-Water Tank Exchange System Maintenance and Repair Services Description: This is an Agreement in which the Contractor shall perform Water Tank Exchange System Maintenance and Repair Services for Avenal State Prison. The Contractor shall be compensated for services in accordance with the service rates specified in Exhibit B-1, Rate Sheet; which shall include all parts, labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, permits and licenses, transportation and every other item of expense necessary to provide Water Tank Exchange System Maintenance and Repair Services for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) for the Co-generation Plant reverse osmosis (RO) / de-mineralized (DI) / water softening systems, water system at Avenal State Prison, located at #1 Kings Way, Avenal, CA 92304. The State is not required to award an Agreement and reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any immaterial deviations in the bid. The State’s waiver of an immaterial deviation shall in no way modify the IFB document or excuse the bidder from full compliance with all requirements if awarded the Agreement. The Director of the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) has ascertained general prevailing wage rates in the county in which the work is to be performed. Upon request, the State shall furnish to the Contractor a copy of such prevailing wage rates that the Contractor shall post at the job site. The Contractor must possess a valid C-36 or C-55 California Contractors State License Board specialty license or a “B” license with a subcontractor who possesses the required specialty license.The Contractor shall be an individual or firm licensed to do business in California and shall obtain at Contractor’s expense all license(s) and permit(s) required by law for accomplishing any work required in connection with this Agreement. AGREEMENT EXECUTION The Agreement will be executed only upon the State's acceptance of the Contractor's certificates of insurance, bonds, licenses, and permits, when such items are required. Should the Contractor fail to commence work at the agreed-upon date and time, the State, upon five (5) days written notice to the Contractor, reserves the right to terminate the Agreement.
