Q&A Deadline 03/05/2024 3:00 PM (PST) Online Q&A Yes Response Format Electronic Additional RFP Timeline information: Submittals for RFP Questions due by 3:00 PM on 3/5/2024 Valley Water Response to Questions will be posted on 3/12/2024 Oral Interviews Tentatively Scheduled for 4/8/2024 thru 4/12/2024 Valley Water requires a Consultant to update its Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) and Annexes. The development and updates must meet the requirements, expectations, and standards of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (CalOES). The updated EOP needs to comply with the Standardized Emergency Management System (SEMS), the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and the National Response Framework (NRP). Minimum Qualifications The following qualifications are the minimum required qualifications that a Proposer must meet for a proposal to be considered responsive: o The Proposer or Proposer's employees shall have 5 years of experience in Emergency Management and/or Risk Management as related to operational risks. o The Proposer or Proposer's employees shall have the following certifications, licenses, or affiliations within Emergency Management. o The Proposer shall possess knowledge of regulations and codes regarding the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and the State Emergency Management System (SEMS) and shall be familiar with local conditions relating to Emergency Management in Santa Clara County. All proposals must be submitted as a single PDF file. No zip files will be accepted. Proposers may not communicate with Valley Water Board Members, staff, or consultants who currently provide services for Valley Water.
