Renovation of a water / sewer project in South Elgin, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Work consists of the removal and replacement in kind of the existing mixed liquor recycle pump in Aeration Zone 6 at the FRWRD West WRF, complete with all necessary accessories, tools and appurtenances for a complete installation, in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents. The existing recycle pump shall be returned to FRWRD upon its removal. BID SECURITY: Bid Security in the amount of not less than 10 % of the Bid shall accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. BID REJECTION / ACCEPTANCE: OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive any informalities in bidding or to accept the Bid or Bids, which best serve the interest of OWNER. The Contract Time, in which all work under this contract must be substantially complete is Ninety (90) calendar days, and must be fully complete and ready for final payment is One Hundred (120) calendar days from the Commencement Date
