Demolition Services at 400 N. Center St, south Elgin, Il The Contractor shall be responsible for all services required herein to be performed, and shall provide and furnish all labor, materials, necessary tools, expendable equipment and supplies, vehicles and transportation services required to perform and complete the Demolition Services from defined areas within the corporate limits of the Village of South Elgin for the duration of the contract. Such services shall be performed within the corporate limits of South Elgin and any territory hereinafter annexed thereto, all in strict accordance with the contract. Work will generally consist of Demolition in areas as defined on the attached Exhibit A. Contractor is responsible for any and all damage to any properties, which are a result of Contractor's actions. Contractor shall repair or replace any and all property damaged due to Contractor's work. All work shall be performed by experienced personnel directly employed by the Contractor. The Contractor shall provide management and technical supervision through competent supervisors as required to implement the required contract. Contractor shall be responsible for the skills, methods, and actions of Contractor’s employees and for all work. Contractor shall employ a sufficient number of staff to ensure performance of the work described. All invoices must be submitted to Public Works and via email to vose-ap@southelgin.com. There may be times where weather conditions or other factors will not allow for Demolition of Village Properties. The Village reserves the right to suspend service to any of the areas on Exhibit A for any reason. When service is suspended, there will be no payment to contractor. The Village of South Elgin desires to enter into agreement with a single contractor to provide Demolition Services. The contract includes the demolition and removal of a one-story brick building to grade. No landscaping restoration services of the property are included in the scope of work.
