Project was awarded to T&T Commercial Equipment, for $52,517.45. The property identified for the Southern Museum RTU Replacement Project is located at 2829 Cherokee Street NW, Kennesaw, Ga. 30144. The Kennesaw Southern Museum has a 17.5-ton Carrier HVAC unit located on its roof. This existing unit needs replacement. Due to its location and the likelihood that replacement of the existing RTU will require specialized equipment, a mandatory pre-bid meeting will be required. Please refer to Section One, Page 1-8, for time and location of the Pre-Bid meeting.
Actions needed:
Removal and disposal of current unit.
Installation of a new 17.5-ton RTU with Adapter Curb.
New unit should be a Carrier, Model 50FC-M20A2A6-0A0A0 or equivalent.
Acceptable equivalent manufacturers: Lennox or Trane.
Must provide current lead-times for chosen equipment.
Every request for such interpretation should be in writing, via email, addressed to Mr. Roy Acree, email: racree@croyeng.com and to be given consideration must be received by Wednesday, March 13, 2024, 5:00pm Local Time Southern Museum Rtu Replacement Project a Total of Five (5) Paper Copies, and One (1) Digital Copy Provided on a Usb/flash Drive Device, of the Proposal Shall Be Required. Factors Used in Evaluating Proposals Will Include: Firm Qualifications, References, Experience, Litigation Record, and Project Cost. Proposals Received After the Designated Time Will Not Be Considered. The Principal Items Required for the Project Shall Include All Materials and Labor Necessary for the Removal and Replacement of a 17.5-ton Rooftop Hvac Unit. Contract time for final completion shall not exceed Forty-Five (45) consecutive calendar days from the Notice To Proceed. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive formalities, re-advertise, and to reduce or add to the contract from time to time.
