The project consist of appoximately 365 linear feet of 18-inch HPDE storm sewer, three (3) 24" square storm receivers, one (1) 30" square storm receiver, one (1) 24" square outlet structure (with rip-rap), yard drains (with piping), and landscaping Each proposal must be accompanied by the deposit of a certified check, payable to the order of the Town of Clarence, for a sum equal to five per centum (5%) of the total amount of the bid, or a bid bond with sufficient sureties in a penal sum equal to five per centum (5%) of such total bid amount, conditioned that if the proposal is accepted, the successful bidder will enter into a contract for the work, and that they will execute within fifteen (15) days from the date of the acceptance of the proposal, a suitable security bond in the amount of the contract, conditioned for the faithful and prompt performance and completion of the work specified in the contract. he Town of Clarence reserves the right to waive informalities in or to reject any and all bids. Document notes: The ENGINEER will mail/ship the Contract Documents to those wishing to obtain a set upon receipt of the document deposit plus a non-refundable mailing/shipping/handling charge of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per set. The non-refundable fifty dollar ($50.00) per set check for mailing/shipping/handling shall be made payable to the ENGINEER. Plans and Specifications may be obtained at the office of the CONSULTING ENGINEER at the address listed below between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. daily from February 21, 2024 to March 21, 2024; except Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays
