The City of Groveport will receive bids for the 2024 Street Maintenance Program via Bid Express, until 2:00 p.m. E.S.T. on Thursday, March 7, 2024. The work for which proposals are invited consists of the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary for construction of various street improvements. Maple Alley Storm Sewer and Street Improvements: Removal of existing alley drainage pipe and structures, placement of about 400 feet of storm sewer pipe, ranging from 8-inch to 12-inch diameter, and placement of about 85 c.y. of asphalt pavement placement, along with other miscellaneous work. The Engineer's Estimated cost of construction for the work outlined in the plans and specifications in the Base Bid is $788,000.00 Alternate 1 (Add) Asphalt resurfacing and reconstruction of Saw Grove Court requiring the placement of approximately 70 c.y. of asphalt pavement placement, pavement milling, various concrete work including concrete sidewalk replacement, concrete approaches and curb spot replacement with other miscellaneous work. The Engineer's Estimated cost of construction for Add Alternate No. 1 is $41,000.00 Alternate 2 (Add) Asphalt resurfacing and reconstruction of Arbor Grove Court requiring the placement of approximately 60 c.y. of asphalt pavement placement, pavement milling, various concrete work including concrete sidewalk replacement, concrete approaches and curb spot replacement with other miscellaneous work.
