A. The scope of this project is the removal and disposal of two existing underground fuel tanks and providing and installing two 1,000-gallon fuel tanks. Existing fuel in the tank will be evaluated for quality and if possible, extracted prior to the start of the work by the district. Contractor shall be responsible for extracting and disposing of the remaining product in the tanks. Removal and disposal of the existing fuel tanks shall be in accordance with local, State, and Federal laws. The new tanks shall be equipped with attached fuel dispensers and associated piping, emergency shut off. electrical conduit B. Contractor shall coordinate and obtain all permits required to complete removal of existing tanks and installation of two new 1000-gallon tanks. Including, but not limited to City of Bellevue Mechanical, City of Bellevue Fire Prevention Bureau-Fuels, Nebraska department of environmental and energy and the State of Nebraska Fire Marshal. The District may reject a Proposal that is incomplete, obscure or irregular, a Proposal with erasures or corrections in the price or a Proposal accompanied by insufficient or irregular bid security.
