The Scope of Work includes the construction of approximately 5,224 lineal feet of 12-inch diameter PVC water main including 80 lineal feet of steel encasement bore installation under Highway C, approximately 4,961 lineal feet of open trench installation of 12-inch PVC water main, approximately 178 lineal feet of open trench installation of 24- inch PVC water main, associated fire hydrant, valves, fittings, hardware, and other incidental items and work described in the Project Manual, or reasonably inferable therefrom. A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner Intends to Award the Contract to the Most Responsive, Responsible Bidder Submitting the Lowest Bid. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids, and To Waive Any Irregularities in the Best Interest of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to make changes in plan details which may vary the accepted quantities from those shown on the Itemized Bid Form.
