Renovation of a library in Durand, Michigan. Working plans call for the renovation of a library.
**As of May 16, 2024 project was on hold and not awarded yet due to lack of budget. All proposals and bids are open to the public, subject to the individual rules governing each announcement. Note, preference is not given to contractors who are mailed a bid. The process of identifying and mailing bids is to ensure sufficient competition in the bid process. The right is reserved by the City of Durand to reject any or all bids, to accept any proposal in whole or in part, or to waive defects or informalities in proposals in the interests of the City. Whenever manufacturer's brand names or numbers are used, they are to be used for reference only. Products of manufacturers other than those mentioned, but of equal quality, may be submitted with full description and specifications. Successful bidder must carry a minimum of $1,000,000.00 (one million) dollar contractor liability insurance and name the City of Durand as second insured. Whenever applicable, bidder is to state manufacturer's catalog number and warranties on items proposed to be furnished. We hereby submit the following bid, in accordance with the attached specifications, which is irrevocable for a period of sixty (60) days and binding upon the acceptance of the City of Durand.
