OWNER The Village of Fox Crossing acting through its Board, hereby gives notice that Bids will be received for the following described project. PROJECT - The work shall consist of the reconstruction (urbanization) of Jacobsen Road (Irish Road to CTH CB) including a 10-foot asphalt recreation trail in the Village of Fox Crossing, Wisconsin. The work will include installation of 3,500 lineal feet of storm sewer (10-inch to 54- inch diameter), 12,000 cubic yards roadway excavation, 15,000 tons of base aggregate, 6,000 lineal feet of concrete curb and gutter, 4,300 tons of new HMA pavement and 12,000 square yards of lawn restoration. Additional work to include rock excavation for storm sewer construction, clearing and grubbing, traffic control, and pavement marking. Contract No. F0057-09-20-00800 JACOBSEN ROAD RECONSTRUCTION Irish Road to CTH CB Substantial Completion by August 23, 2024 ; Final Completion by September 30, 2024. BID SECURITY No Bid shall be received unless accompanied by a Certified Check or satisfactory Bid Bond payable to the Village of Fox Crossing in an amount not less than 5% of the the max maximum Bid as a guarantee that, if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the Contract, Performance/Payment Bonds and Insurance Certification, as required by the Contract Documents, within 15- days after the Notice of Award. BID REJECTION The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive any informalities in Bidding or to accept the Bid or Bids which best serves the interests of the Village of Fox Crossing. WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60-days after the scheduled opening without the consent of the OWNER. The Contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of Sections 66.0901, 66.0903 and 779.14 of the Wisconsin Statutes. Question Deadline 03/14/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to the ENGINEER in writing. Replies will be issued by Addenda. Questions received less than 5-days prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
