Contractor shall complete all work as specified or indicated in the Contract Documents. The work is generally described as follows: Tolbert Project Area Cleaning & CCTV Inspection includes the cleaning, televising, inspection and recording of the storm and sanitary sewers in accordance with plans and specifications prepared for the Director of Public Service of the City of Wadsworth. The project for which the work under the Contract Documents is to be performed may be generally described as the 2024-400, Tolbert Project Area Cleaning & CCTV Inspection. Unless otherwise specified in the Contract, the Owners Engineer or RPR shall be and is hereby authorized to make, in writing, such in-scope alterations in the work and variation of quantities as may be necessary to complete the work, provided such action does not represent a significant change in the character of the work. For purpose of this section, a significant change in character of work means: any change that is outside the current contract scope of work; any change (increase or decrease) in the total contract cost by more than 50%; or any change in the total cost of a major contract item by more than 75%. Under no circumstances will force account work be permitted on this contract. All out of scope items require acceptance by all parties for the associated fees prior to the work taking place. The City reserves the right to reject any bid if the Bidder fails to satisfy the City that the Bidder has the experience, resources and inclination to complete the obligations of the Contract. Conditional bids are not acceptable.
