Renovation of an educational facility in Charleston, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 183,513-square-foot educational facility.
15,000 sf of interior reno. on 1st floor, replacement of 4 roof areas including full metal mansard roof & related structure. Exterior skin repairs include sealant joints, gaskets, repointing & related work. MEP systems including lighting, fire alarm, rooftop piping manifolds, HVAC & sprinkler replacement. 1st floor is reconfigured from the lobby to the north to create Classrooms and related support spaces. Finishes replaced in 1st floor, AV/IT in CONSTRUCTION COST RANGE: $5,000,000 to $6,500,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. BID SECURITY IS REQUIRED IN AN AMOUNT NOT LESS THAN 5% OF THE BASE BID. PERFORMANCE AND LABOR & MATERIAL PAYMENT BONDS: The successful Contractor will be required to provide Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price.
