As of March 28, 2025, an architect has been selected and this project is in the design phase. Project Description The purpose of this RFQ is to select an A/E firm to perform design services for the overall renovation of the existing Clark Memorial Library. The renovation is to include both interior and exterior improvements. A/E firm to demonstrate knowledge of current library trends and higher education/academic library design experience. The selected A/E, as a portion of its required Scope of Services and prior to submitting its proposals, will discuss and clarify with the Owner and/or the Contracting Authority, the cost breakdown of the Architect/Engineer Agreement detailed cost components to address the Owner's project requirements. Participate in the Encouraging Diversity, Growth& Equity (EDGE) Program as required by statute and the Agreement. Design services are requested to start immediately and prepare bid documents by September 1, 2024. Construction is to begin by December 31, 2024. Scope of Services o Coordinate and collaborate with the committee stakeholders and develop a mission, vision, and actionable plan for the library's overall renovation. o Full design services to include both interior/exterior renovation and hardscape/landscape renovation as outlined per standard OFCC requirements. o Help to develop project delivery system, phasing as required to align with available funding, and scheduling of the project with consideration to the ongoing operations of the facility. o Construction administration services through construction completion and project close-out.
