Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Portsmouth, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Project includes the following Work: Replacement of the existing sanitary sewer interceptor in Sciotoville that runs down Harding Avenue, 3rd Street, Bloom Street, and Gallia Street. The replacement includes approximately 6,100 linear feet of gravity sewer, ranging in size from 8-inch to 24-inch. Relocations of the existing sanitary sewer branches at Harding Avenue, Harrison Street, and Wilson Street are also included in this Project to accommodate the new slope of the Harding Interceptor. The Project also includes the replacement of the Harding Avenue force main from the lift station at the Gospel Church of God to the beginning of the interceptor in front of East Portsmouth Elementary School. Storm sewer and water main/services relocations are also included within the Project to accommodate installation of the proposed interceptor. Curb ramps along Harding Avenue are also to be replaced. The Bid must be accompanied by Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the Bid or Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of 10% of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. CONTRACTOR shall pay wages to each laborer and mechanic at a rate not less than the minimum wages specified in the current wage determination in accordance with the provisions of the Davis Bacon Act. Bidders shall comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246, Equal Employment Opportunity as amended. OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 110 days after the time set for receiving Bids. Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. Any Contract or Contracts to be awarded are expected to be funded with the assistance from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency Water Pollution Control Loan Fund and is subject to all applicable laws and regulations.
