Bids shall be submitted on the bid form provided and all blanks must be filled in for the bid to be accepted. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days from the date of the bid opening. All project work shall be substantially completed within 120 calendar days of notice to proceed. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities not involving price, time or changes in the Work and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids and the right to accept the Bid and Bids which best serve the interests of the Village. This Project generally consists of existing pavement removal, excavation of existing roadway base to facilitate new roadway base, spot removal and replacement of concrete curb and gutter, spot removal and replacement of concrete sidewalk, placement of asphalt pavement on N 125th Street (Fairmount to Cameron), N 126th Street (Fairmount to Cameron), W Fairmount Ave (127th St to 124th St), and W Cameron Avenue (127th St to 124th St), water system replacement in paving areas, utility structure adjustments, site restoration and pavement marking.
