Yolo County Housing is requesting proposals with cost estimates for Sewer System Pipeline Repairs from licensed, experienced vendors and contractors, who can respond quickly to this request and meet the construction and installation timelines set forth below. Background The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) Office of Migrant Services (OMS) oversees affordable rental housing during peak harvest season for migrant farmworkers and their families. Of the existing twenty-four (24) OMS housing centers statewide, Yolo County Housing operates three (3) Migrant Centers in Yolo and Solano County. Migrant Center Sites Dixon Migrant Center 7290 Radio Station Rd, Dixon, CA 956200. Scope of Work o The project consists of removing and replacing approximately 542 feet of 8-inch sewer line and 54 feet of 12-inch sewer line. Additionally, the scope includes the pumping out and cleaning of an existing 32,000-gallon septic tank. General Notes o This project is a State Prevailing Wage Public Works Project. Prevailing wages should be factored into the proposal for all contractors and subcontractors. o Labor Compliance, including payroll submittal and review, in addition to employee interviews will be required for all contractors and subcontractors. o DIR registration will be required as well. o Insurance Requirements are attached (Attachment B). Please ensure that you can meet the requirements. o Performance and Payment Bonds will be required of the successful proposer. o A Bid Bond will be required by all contractors submitting a proposal. o Contractors are required to comply with the certification standards set forth by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) for any designated construction vehicles.
