2024 Street Maintenance Projects Pre-Qualification: Yes Pre-Bid Meeting Info: A formal pre-bid meeting to examine the site will not be held. Site may be viewed at the contractor's convenience. Project consists of pulverize and overlay of 32,000 SY of asphalt roadway; remove and replace 7,500 SY of roadway; 6,000 LF of 8" water main replacement; 300 LF of 12" water main replacement; 5,700 LF of sanitary sewer lining and associated manhole rehabilitation; spot replacement of curb and gutter, storm sewer, sidewalk and drainage improvements; and resurface a parking lot. A single prime bid will be received for the work. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid amount. Bid and bid security may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the Bid Deadline. Bid security will be retained if the Bidder is awarded the work and fails to execute the Agreement and furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. This project is funded in part by financial assistance from Local Road Improvements Program (LRIP). A proof of responsibility (pre-qualification) form available with the bid documents for this contract must be delivered to the City of Oconomowoc not later than March 7, 2024 and shall show sufficient ability, equipment and experience to properly perform the contract. No binding interpretation of the meaning or intent of the drawings, specifications, or other bidding documents will be made to any bidder orally.
