The Humboldt County Association of Governments (HCAOG) is inviting interested parties to submit proposals for providing services to complete the Humboldt Multimodal and Vibrant Neighborhoods Planning project. HCAOG would like to retain the professional services of a qualified professional and/or firm, or combination of professionals and/or firms, to assist in project work related to this Caltrans' Sustainable Communities grant project. HCAOG is seeking those with expertise in one or more of the following areas of expertise: walkability; bikeability; equity outcomes in land use and transportation planning; equity outcomes in public engagement; level of traffic stress (LTS) analysis; spatial analysis, mapping and database management; Safe Routes to School community engagement; smart growth principles and best practices; conducting professional training/charrettes; and other applicable consulting services related to transportation planning. The period of the contract will be from May 2024 to no later than March 2026.
