Removal and replacement of 19 electrical panels, and numerous starters in various locations throughout the Charlottesville-Albemarle Technical Education Center (CATEC) facility as per the IFB Project Manual and Attachment E drawings & specifications. The Contractor is to provide all supervision, equipment, labor, and materials necessary to complete the work as described in the project description. Refer to Section 00 73 00 Supplemental Terms and Conditions of this IFB document for specific details Prior to award of contract and commencing with the work, the contractor is to submit all required insurance and bonds in accordance with the City of Charlottesville requirements. Each bid in excess of $200,000 submitted in response to this IFB shall be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total monetary amount of the bid (total base bid plus all additive bid items). The bid guarantee may be either (i) a certified or cashier's check made payable to "The City of Charlottesville, Virginia," or (ii) a bid bond made payable to "The City of Charlottesville, Virginia."
