Deadlines for any and all inquiries will be March 8, 2024 @ 5:00pm PROPOSED PROJECT City of Ephraim, acting through its Recreation Department, is requesting proposals from qualified contractors with expertise in drafting Renovation plans to assist City staff in the preparation of a Refurbishment of the Ephraim community center restrooms. The Contractor shall have a proven knowledge of building code regulations and ADA compliance as it applies to the completion of community center renovations. The total budget for this project is expected to not exceed $23,355.00. TERM OF AGREEMENT It is expected that the community center bathroom renovation be completed and approved by the City of Ephraim no later than June 30, 2024. This time frame may be extended for a short period of time through written documentation agreeable to bothparties SCOPE - OBJECTIVES ADA Compliance: Ensure that the renovated Men's and Women's restrooms comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, providing accessible facilities for all community members. Enhanced Functionality: Improve the functionality of both restrooms by strategically placing fixtures and amenities to optimize space and user experience. Aesthetic Modernization: Enhance the overall aesthetics of the restrooms through the installation of modern and visually appealing fixtures, partitions, and finishes. Privacy Enhancement: Increase privacy within the restrooms by installing new partitions and constructing a dividing wall between the Men's and Women's restrooms. Improved Durability: Upgrade materials, including flooring, countertops, and sinks, to improve durability and withstand high traffic, ensuring a longer lifespan for the renovated facilities. Efficient Space Utilization: Optimize the layout and arrangement of fixtures to make efficient use of available space while maintaining compliance with applicable building codes. SCOPE - REQUIREMENTS The Ephraim Community Center Restrooms Renovation project encompasses a comprehensive set of upgrades to both Men's and Women's restrooms, aligning with ADA compliance standards. The scope includes the installation of new toilets, replacement of doors, temporary relocation of the Men's urinal, replacing partitions, flooring replacement, sink upgrades, integration of vanity mirrors, installation of solid surface or laminate countertops, construction of a new dividing wall between the Men's and Women's restrooms, and adherence to a detailed construction plan.
